¡Hola perdidos!
Hace tiempo me di cuenta de que esta sección estaba bastante
apartada y era poco frecuentada, así que en mi labor como más novata
administradora, he decidido seguir con esta sección que estaba ya abandonada,
como parte de volver a darle vida a este blog.
Como hace poco, colgué la reseña de All the bright places,
que podéis consultarla si queréis, quería seguir con esta tradición de colgar
algunas de mis frases favoritas aquí. El único inconveniente es que están en inglés,
pero aún así, espero que os gusten.
“I’m still here, and I’m grateful, because otherwise I

This is what I want to do with Violet- give her only the
good, keep away the bad, so that good is all we ever have around us.
Message: You are all the
colors in one, at full brightness.
“Sometimes, Ultraviolet, things feel true to us even if
they’re not.”
“I like the idea of something that can give you those
feelings all the time, impending and weightless doom. I want something like
that, and then I look at Violet and think: There
she is.”
“But I bring it up to let you know that this is the way I
feel like right now. Like Pluto and Jupiter are aligned with the earth and I’m
floating.”
“Let us wander whirling to the guilt chairs… Are we not
acceptable, moon? Are we not lovely sitting together here…?”
“Just give them time”
“That’s the only thing I don’t have” And then I erase it.
I’m wrapped up in the day. I love: the way her eyes spark
when we’re talking or when she mouths the words to herself when she’s reading
and concentrating, the way she looks at me as if there’s only me, as if she can
see past the flesh and bone and bullshit right into the me that’s there, the
one I don’t even see myself.
“I do it because it reminds me to be here, that I’m still
here and that I have a say in the matter.”
“I remember her hand
in mine and how that felt, as if something and someone belonged to me.”
“Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.”
“I feel a thousand capacities spring up in me.”

ResponderEliminarDe acuerdo con Pilar, me parecen todas muy bonitas (aunque reconozco que he tirado del traductor en ocasiones, no te voy a engañar :'D), pero mi favorita es la primera y la última que, aún siendo muy sencilla, me parece motivadora.

Este libro tiene frases increíbles!! Y ahora que las leo recordé varias de ellas, lo único malo es que cuando lo leí no las marque así que me dieron ganas de leerlo nuevamente y marca todas sus hermosaaa frases ❤❤
